Heartbreakingly, Richard passed away on Easter Sunday. 

He fought with every ounce of strength he had left, but in the end he slipped away peacefully at home, without any pain and surrounded by his family.

No words feel big enough to fill the hole he’s left in our lives. 

His funeral will be held at St Giles Church, Risby on Thursday 25th April at 2.30PM.

The service will be followed by a private cremation and a celebration of his life at Lavender Cottage, Whepstead. We welcome everyone to come and share their memories.

One of Richard's final wishes was that no one wears black, so please dress in colour.

He also requested only family flowers, but if desired, donations can be made in his memory to MacMillan Cancer Support, who supported him and his family throughout his care and treatment.
